The bakshish.bg platform is provided by Deedy Labs (Дийди Лабс ЕООД), UIC 205325050. Email: info@bakshish.bg. Bakshish acts as a technology facilitator enabling voluntary payments between tip givers and recipients. Deedy Labs EOOD is not a party to any sale of goods or services and does not act as a financial intermediary holding funds.
Service description
Bakshish is a digital tipping platform that allows customers to send voluntary cashless payments to individuals or businesses via QR code. Tips are voluntary gratuities and do not constitute payment for goods or services. The platform is not a party to any sale and does not issue receipts for goods or services. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.
Acceptance of terms
Using the platform — including making a payment or registering — means you have read and accept these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Registration and accounts
Businesses must register with accurate and up-to-date information. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. The provider may refuse or terminate an account for breach of these terms.
Payments and fees
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. in accordance with their terms of service and the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. The fund recipient acts as the merchant of record through their Stripe Connected Account. Bakshish is not the merchant of record. By accepting these Terms, users also accept Stripe's terms.
Bakshish charges a processing fee, the amount of which is shown at the time of payment. The platform reserves the right to update fees with prior notice.
Every tip payment is credited directly to the recipient's Stripe Connected Account. Stripe automatically disburses funds to the recipient's bank account according to its standard payout schedule. Bakshish does not hold or accumulate funds.
Bakshish is not responsible for bank or payment provider fees charged to users.
Recipient Verification (KYC)
To receive funds through the platform, recipients must complete a mandatory identity verification procedure:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date identity information
- Provide an official identity document for administrator review
- Using another person's documents is a criminal offence and will result in immediate account suspension
Bakshish reserves the right to refuse verification for illegible, expired, or suspicious documents, without obligation to provide a reason.
Payment services for recipients are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. By accepting these Terms, recipients also accept Stripe's terms.
Income reports
The platform provides the ability to generate reports on received tips for selected periods (monthly, quarterly, annually).
These reports are for informational purposes only and are intended to assist with personal bookkeeping. They do not constitute an official accounting document.
The recipient bears full and personal responsibility for declaring received amounts to the National Revenue Agency (NRA) in accordance with the Personal Income Tax Act (PITA). Bakshish does not provide tax or accounting advice.
The platform is not liable for any discrepancies between report amounts and amounts actually received due to Stripe fees or currency conversion.
Electronic communications
By registering on the Platform, the user agrees to receive system and transactional messages (payment notifications, verification, reports, and security alerts) at the provided email address.
These messages are a necessary part of the service and are not unsolicited commercial communications (direct marketing).
The Platform is not liable for undelivered notifications due to technical issues on the user's end (full mailbox, spam filters, etc.).
User obligations
The user undertakes to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Not use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
- Keep account credentials secure
- Notify immediately of suspected unauthorised access
- Comply with applicable law
Intellectual property
All rights to the platform, including design, code and content, belong to Deedy Labs. Copying or use without written permission is prohibited.
Limitation of liability
Deedy Labs is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform beyond the cases provided by law. The service is provided "as is", without guarantees of continuity.
Termination
The provider may terminate access for breach of these terms. Users may request account closure at any time at info@bakshish.bg.
Privacy
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. All disputes shall be referred to the competent courts of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Changes
We reserve the right to amend these terms. Changes take effect upon publication. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the changes.
